Futsal es la nueva denominación universal impuesta por la FIFA que une a todas las categorías de Fútbol de Salón. Se realizaron dos sudamericaons de Futsal clasificatorios para los mundiales de Futsal de FIFA, ambos fueron obtenidos por Brasil. Futsal is the new denomination set up by FIFA, comprising all inside football categories. Two South American Futsals were held, as preliminaires for FIFA Futsal World Cups, both achieved by Brazil


Brasil, ganador eterno, levanta otra Copa, es esta caso, la del Sudamericano del Futsal ganado este año. También es bicampeón mundial. Ganó los títulos en Holanda 1989 y en Hong Kong 1992. Brazil, the eternal winner, hoists aloft another Cup, this time the trophy of the South American Futsal, attained that year. It is also a World Bi-champion, with titles attained in Holland, in 1989 and in Hong Kong, in 1992.
